1. A small low pressure area located about 900 miles southwest of the
southern tip of the Baja California peninsula is producing
disorganized showers and thunderstorms. The low is forecast to merge
with a larger area of disturbed weather farther west, and some slow
development of that system is possible by this weekend while it
moves generally westward.
