BoM於未來三日展望中評級其為Low

A weak tropical low lies south southwest of Christmas Island. It is forecast to move in a southwesterly direction today, before turning towards the west on Friday and remaining well to the south of Christmas and Cocos Islands.

This system will strengthen over the next few days but development should be slow as the environment isn't very favourable. There is a slight chance of it developing into a tropical cyclone over the weekend over open waters well to the west of the WA mainland. It is likely to move west out of the region on Monday.

A weak tropical low lies near 16S 100.5E, well southwest of Christmas Island. It is forecast to move in a westerly direction over the weekend remaining well to the south of Christmas and Cocos Islands.
While the system may strengthen slightly over the weekend, the environment isn't very favourable for development and it is not expected to develop into a tropical cyclone. It is likely to move west out of the region on Monday.
